Even three months before the end of Season 5 of the World Poker Tour (WPT), a full 16-event slate for Season 6 has been set for poker fans, running all the way until April 2008.
Season 6 will kick off in May, and will feature events at some of the most famous casinos in the world - the Aviation Club in Paris, Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, the Borgata in Atlantic City, the Commerce and Bicycle casinos in Los Angeles, and the Bay 101 in San Jose, California. The Mirage Poker Showdown in Vegas returns, at least two Caribbean events are planned, with Season 6 again finishing with the World Poker Tour Championship at the Bellagio, in April 2008.
Buy-ins for the tournaments of the World Poker Tour Season 6 are between $5,000 and $15,000, with the final event at the Bellagio calling for a $25,000 buy-in.
