In playing the game of Blackjack, everyone could use a few tips to improve blackjack odd of winning and beating the house. A chart depicts the percentage the player has of exceeding 21 based on the value of their hand. For example, if the total of the hand adds up to 19, then that means there is an 85% chance that the card drawn will cause the hand to bust. If the player’s hand adds up to 14, there is a 56% chance of busting the hand and losing.

There’s another chart beginners need to be aware of and that is the percentage of recurrence of being dealt two cards to the player. This chart shows the chance of receiving the hand in the range shown. The most sought-after hand is a “natural”, meaning two cards are dealt equaling 21 –a ten-count card and an Ace – and the odds of getting this are 4.8%.
